    Course Description

    This CPD accredited Chemical Peels course integrates core theoretical knowledge with practical application to equip practitioners with the skills to safely and effectively administer the PRX chemical peel range, including PRX-T33 and PRX-Plus. This course covers skin anatomy, clinical indications and contraindications, consultation and treatment planning, application protocols, post-procedure care, and integration into existing treatment pathways. Designed for qualified professionals, this training supports safe, evidence-based practice and builds clinical confidence in delivering these biorevitalisation Peel treatments with minimal downtime and visible, lasting results. Ideal for those expanding their aesthetic treatment offerings within a regulated clinical or aesthetic practice.

    Attending Delegate Entry Criteria and Prerequisites Required

    • Doctors, Dentists, Nurses, Midwives and Pharmacists can attend this course.
    • Dental Hygienists and Dental Nurses can attend this course.
    • Therapists with ITEC/CIBTEC/FETAC/ QQI/VTCT/CIDESCO/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification can attend this course.
    • All attending medical or healthcare professionals must have an active current registration with either a Medical, Dental, Nursing, Midwifery or Pharmaceutical body in Ireland or the UK.
    • Evidence of delegate’s registration will be required when booking onto this course.
    • Therapists must provide evidence of qualification. 
    • All delegates will be covered by Cosmed Academy’s indemnity insurance on the day of training.

    Follow up

    • Cosmed will provide free email support for 12 months post course attendance.

    • This training course is recognised by Aesthetic Insure insurance company meaning that the Cosmed Certificate of Completion will be recognised by this body and other leading insurance bodies post training.

    • After completing your Cosmed Training course and receiving your Certificate of Completion you will need to ensure the new treatment areas are added to your indemnity insurance policy before commencing the new treatment areas in clinic.

    FAQs

    Will I get to practice on live patients?
    There will be ample opportunity throughout the practical section of the day to practice assessment and treatment techniques on live training models under the supervision of the expert trainer to ensure that each delegate obtains a solid understanding of all training delivered.
    Are training models supplied for me?
    Cosmed Academy will supply the training models for this course. If you do want to supply your own training model/s, please contact us directly on (01) 5547878 or email us at info@cosmed.ie to discuss model clearance criteria and requirements. All model arrangements and clearance will need to be completed at least 2 weeks before the training course date.
    There is a cost for all model treatments, however these are heavily discounted. Please the Training Model signup page for all available model information including clearance criteria, the booking process and treatment prices.

    I attended three courses at Cosmed, and I can't recommend them enough, whether you're a beginner or looking to upskill. The student-to-teacher ratio was small, providing plenty of opportunities to perform a variety of procedures. Anna and Madeline were fantastic instructors, offering great encouragement and confidence to perform the procedures. I enjoyed the class and feel very confident afterward.     I did my foundation and advanced Botulinum toxin and Dermal Filler courses with Cosmed and I can’t be more impressed. Wonderful staff! Yasmin, Jade, Eleonora go above and beyond to help you with your booking process and thereafter. Most importantly the trainers Anna Gunning and Dr Madeleine are very knowledgeable and skilled at what they do and address all your questions with patience and keep giving all those necessary advices throughout. There is loads of hands on training on a number of models, covering all the different areas and they make sure each delegate gets equal amount of hands on. They provide you with pre and post training reading material which is very very useful. They have an amazing catering service and you have tea/snacks at your hand throughout the day. I highly recommend Cosmed Aesthetic training academy for anyone seeking to start a career in aesthetics. Thanks very much Cosmed.

    I am only starting my journey with aesthetics and I chose Cosmed as my training academy and I have to say I am really impressed.
