Chemical Skin Peels - PRX Range

Course Description

This course trains you on the PRX Skin Peel range. PRX are advanced medical-grade TCA peels where encapsulated TCA activates within the dermis rather than the epidermis, promoting dermal renewal and collagen remodelling with minimal disruption to the epidermis avoiding both visible peeling and any associated downtime.
This CPD accredited course integrates core theoretical knowledge with practical application to equip delegates with the skills to safely and effectively administer the PRX peel range, including PRX-T33 and PRX-Plus.
This course covers skin anatomy, treatment indications, contraindications, consultation and treatment planning, application protocols and post-procedure care.
Designed for qualified professionals, this training supports safe, evidence-based practice and builds clinical confidence in delivering these biorevitalisation peel treatments. Ideal for those expanding their advanced skin treatment offerings within a regulated clinical or aesthetic practice.

Attending Delegate Entry Criteria and Prerequisites Required

• Doctors, Dentists, Nurses, Midwives and Pharmacists can attend this course.
• Dental Hygienists and Dental Nurses can attend this course.
• Therapists with ITEC/CIBTAC/FETAC/ QQI/VTCT/CIDESCO/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification can attend this course.
• All attending medical or healthcare professionals must have an active current registration with either a Medical, Dental, Nursing, Midwifery or Pharmaceutical body in Ireland or the UK.
• Evidence of delegate’s registration will be required when booking onto this course.
• Therapists must provide evidence of qualification. 
• All delegates will be covered by Cosmed Academy’s indemnity insurance on the day of training.

Follow up

• Cosmed will provide free email support for 12 months post course attendance.

• This training course is recognised by Aesthetic Insure insurance company meaning that the Cosmed Certificate of Completion will be recognised by this body and other leading insurance bodies post training.

• After completing your Cosmed Training course and receiving your Certificate of Completion you will need to ensure the new treatment areas are added to your indemnity insurance policy before commencing the new treatment areas in clinic.

FAQs

Will I get to practice on live patients?

There will be ample opportunity throughout the practical section of the day to practice assessment and treatment techniques on live training models under the supervision of the expert trainer to ensure that each delegate obtains a solid understanding of all training delivered.

Are training models supplied for me?

Cosmed Academy will supply the training models for this course. If you do want to supply your own training model/s, please contact us directly on (01) 5547878 or email us at info@cosmed.ie to discuss model clearance criteria and requirements. All model arrangements and clearance will need to be completed at least 2 weeks before the training course date.
