3 Step Training Pathway

Step 1 - 1 Day - Foundation Dermal Filler - this day will cover "introductory" Dermal filler techniques for the Lips, Marionette lines, Nasolabial Folds and Cheeks using both needle and cannula.

Step 2 - 1 Day - Lip and Perioral Dermal filler - this day will focus solely on the Lip and Perioral region adressing both needle and cannula techniques for the Lips, Perioral lines, Accordion lines/ Buccal hollowing/ Nasolabial Folds and Marionette lines, taking your expertise to the next step.

Step 3 - 1 Day - Cheeks, Jawline and Chin - this day will cover a more in-depth level of training on the concept of facial contouring and facial shaping covering contouring and sculpting techniques for the Midface - Cheeks and the Lowerface - Jawline and Chin. All techniques will be with Needle and Cannula.

This three-day Dermal Filler Training Pathway is designed for Medical and Healthcare Professionals who want to build a strong foundation and begin their career in aesthetics with confidence. This programme combines theory with hands-on practical injecting sessions and covers the essential Dermal filler treatments to set you on the pathway for success, stepping you through from foundation to more advanced techniques for the Midface, Lowerface and Perioral region.

Attending Delegate Entry Criteria and Prerequisites Required

Doctors, Dentists, Nurses, Midwives and Pharmacists can attend this Dermal Filler Training Pathway.

All attending delegates must be medical or healthcare professionals who have an active current registration with either a Medical, Dental, Nursing, Midwifery or Pharmaceutical body in Ireland or the UK. Evidence of delegate’s registration will be required when booking onto this course.

General Dental Council (GDC)

Nurses and Midwives Registration bodies:

All delegates will be covered by Cosmed’s indemnity insurance on the day of training.

Post Course Follow up

• Cosmed will provide free email support for 12 months post course attendance.

• This training course is accrediated by the CPD Certification Service and recognised by Aesthetic Insure insurance and other leading aesthetic insurance companies throughout Ireland meaning that the Cosmed Certificate of Completion will be recognised by these bodies post training.

• After completing this Training Pathway and receiving your Certificates of Completion you will need to purchase injectable indemnity insurance, if you already have an aesthetic injectable insurance policy you will need to ensure the new injectable treatment areas are added to this policy before commencing the new treatment areas in clinic.

CPD Accreditation

This Cosmed Academy Training Pathway holds full accreditation from the CPD Certification Service body, ensuring its high-quality and recognised educational value. This course is equivalent to 24 CPD hours/points.

FAQs

Will I get to practice on live patients?

There will be ample opportunity throughout the practical section of the day to practice assessment and injecting techniques on live training models under the supervision of the expert trainer to ensure that each delegate obtains a solid understanding of all training delivered.

Are training models supplied for me?

Cosmed Academy will supply the training models for this course. If you do want to supply your own training model/s, please contact us directly on (01) 5547878 or email us at info@cosmed.ie to discuss model clearance criteria and requirements. All model arrangements and clearance will need to be completed at least 2 weeks before the training course date.
