    Thursday 8th October 2026

    This comprehensive Complications Management training day is led by Mr Dalvi Humzah, Consultant Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeon (UK).
    This course provides an in-depth understanding of the recognition, assessment and evidence-based management of complications associated with Botulinum Toxin, Dermal Fillers and Biostimulator treatments.
    Suitable for any medical practitioner involved in medical aesthetics, this training combines theory, discussion and Q&A sessions with live Hyaluronidase (Hyalase) Demonstrations for Dermal filler dissolving and a live Ultrasound Demonstration, highlighting its role in the assessment and management of facial aesthetic complications.

    About the Trainer

    Mr Dalvi Humzah is a Consultant Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeon with an internationally recognised reputation in aesthetic medicine, education and complication management. An award-winning educator, he lectures extensively throughout the UK and internationally on non-surgical aesthetic procedures, patient safety and complication management.

    Mr Humzah has extensive clinical experience in the recognition and management of aesthetic complications and led the international expert group that developed the consensus guidelines for the management of blindness associated with Dermal Filler treatments. This peer-reviewed publication received the Aesthetics Professional Initiative Award in 2018 and remains an important contribution to patient safety within aesthetic medicine.

    With decades of surgical and aesthetic experience, Mr Humzah delivers evidence-based teaching, combining the latest clinical guidance with practical protocols to help practitioners confidently recognise, assess and manage non-surgical aesthetic complications.

    I attended three courses at Cosmed, and I can't recommend them enough, whether you're a beginner or looking to upskill. The student-to-teacher ratio was small, providing plenty of opportunities to perform a variety of procedures. Anna and Madeline were fantastic instructors, offering great encouragement and confidence to perform the procedures. I enjoyed the class and feel very confident afterward.     I did my foundation and advanced Botulinum toxin and Dermal Filler courses with Cosmed and I can’t be more impressed. Wonderful staff! Yasmin, Jade, Eleonora go above and beyond to help you with your booking process and thereafter. Most importantly the trainers Anna Gunning and Dr Madeleine are very knowledgeable and skilled at what they do and address all your questions with patience and keep giving all those necessary advices throughout. There is loads of hands on training on a number of models, covering all the different areas and they make sure each delegate gets equal amount of hands on. They provide you with pre and post training reading material which is very very useful. They have an amazing catering service and you have tea/snacks at your hand throughout the day. I highly recommend Cosmed Aesthetic training academy for anyone seeking to start a career in aesthetics. Thanks very much Cosmed.

    I am only starting my journey with aesthetics and I chose Cosmed as my training academy and I have to say I am really impressed.
