Course Description
The focus of this Lip and Perioral Training Day will be to provide injectors with an in-depth level of training on the rejuvenation and enhancement of the lips and perioral region using Dermal filler.The day will cover rejuvenation techniques for the older lip and perioral area including perioral lines, accordion lines / buccal hollowing and marionette lines. Also covered will be enhancement techniques for the younger lip and more complex lips including the M shaped lip. All techniques will be with needle and cannula.
An overview of dental blocks and lip dissolve will be covered throughout the day. The Dermal filler brand used will be Belotero®.

Attending Delegate Entry Criteria and Prerequisites Required
Doctors, Dentists, Nurses, Midwives and Pharmacists can attend this Lip + Perioral Dermal Filler Training Day.
All attending delegates must be medical or healthcare professionals who have an active current registration with either a Medical, Dental, Nursing, Midwifery or Pharmaceutical body in Ireland or the UK. Evidence of delegate’s registration will be required when booking onto this course.

This training course has been accrediated by the CPD Certification Service and is recognised by Aesthetic Insure insurance company meaning that the Cosmed Certificate of Completion will be recognised by both bodies post training.

After completing your Cosmed Training course and receiving your Certificate of Completion you will need to ensure the new injectable treatment areas are added to your injectable indemnity insurance policy before commencing the new treatment areas in clinic.

Will I get to practice on live patients?
There will be ample opportunity throughout the practical section of the day to practice assessment and injecting techniques on live training models under the supervision of the expert trainer to ensure that each delegate obtains a solid understanding of all training delivered.
Are training models supplied for me?
Cosmed Academy will supply the training models for this course. If you do want to supply your own training model/s, please contact us directly on (01) 5547878 or email us at info@cosmed.ie to discuss model clearance criteria and requirements. All model arrangements and clearance will need to be completed at least 2 weeks before the training course date.
